Gold Plaza

Gold Plaza, developed in partnership with the Austrian property development company Immofinanz AG, is the largest retail development in the whole of the North-Western region of Romania.

The Gold Plaza shopping and entertainment centre is superbly located in the centre of Baia Mare, adjacent to the intersection of three main roads. There is no other comparable facility nearby and there are around 1,2 million people in the surrounding area – within one hour’s car drive.

This 34 500 m2 shopping centre has given new life to the city, and primarily features international fashion brands. Gold Plaza houses a new store from the French company Cora, Romania’s favourite hypermarket chain, while you can also find the area’s first multiplex cinema, a member of the Cinema City franchise, with six different screens awaiting visitors.
